Livi Sanchez, Local Hire Compliance Manager
Livi Sanchez is a highly skilled and dedicated professional who has made a significant impact on the Harbor and East Los Angeles region. Known for her exceptional time management and decision-making skills, Livi has been instrumental in helping countless individuals achieve their goals and find success in their chosen careers.
As the Local Hire Compliance Manager, Livi is responsible for overseeing the placement of individuals into various jobs and positions. She takes great pride in her work and is deeply committed to ensuring that every individual she works with is able to find a job that is both fulfilling and financially rewarding. She is highly skilled in matching individuals with jobs that suit their unique skills and interests, and her ability to quickly make decisions and think on her feet is truly impressive.
One thing that Livi particularly enjoys is helping others achieve their goals. She is a natural problem-solver and is always willing to go the extra mile to help someone in need. Her dedication to her work and her compassion for others have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Livi enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid reader and enjoys exploring new books and authors. She also enjoys hiking and exploring the great outdoors, and is always on the lookout for new trails and adventures to explore.
Cory Hyde, Placement Manager and Systems Trainer
Cory has a passion for social equality and invoking positive change in his community.
As a Placement Manager, Cory helps facilitate the relationship between subcontractors and candidates. His mission is to help lead community engagement, develop relationships with unions and work with community members to find employment in the field of construction. Cory works with contractors and workers to help projects meet their local hire goals. He connects candidates with training and employment opportunities in the Los Angeles Area.
Prior to joining Power2Workers, Mr. Hyde worked at various elementary schools. His early work with children drove him to find a career field that would allow him to continue to help shape the lives of others, while still making a contribution to the betterment of his community. After leaving childcare, Cory thought it would be best to focus on bettering his education and learning more of the issues that most effect his community. Cory graduated from West Los Angeles College in the Summer of 2022 with his associate’s degree Sociology, as well as Behavioral and Social Sciences. Mr. Hyde now attends Arizona State University where he is majoring in Sociology.
Cory enjoys spending time with his family and exercising. He loves traveling and experiencing the different cultures of the world but he feels most at home in the city of Los Angeles.
Ever Diaz, Outreach and Strategic Engagement Manager
Ever Diaz is our Outreach and Strategic Engagement Manager who is dedicated to helping people advance in their lives and support themselves and their families. With a bachelor's degree in journalism and marketing from Long Beach State, Ever has developed a wide range of skills that have helped him excel in his career.
Prior to his current role, Ever worked as a social media specialist and served as the Community Affairs Manager for the Los Angeles Rams. In that role, he led over 50 employees and transformed the fundraising program into the best in the league. His skills in leadership and community building have made him a highly sought-after professional in his field.
In his current role, Ever thrives on attending community network events, training program culminations, and speaking engagements. He is also highly skilled in organizing events and job fairs. With his passion for community outreach, Ever has made a significant impact on the lives of many individuals.
When not working, Ever enjoys playing guitar and staying active by hitting the gym. He has a deep love for music and travel, often attending concerts and will soon travel to different countries for music festivals. Ever's dedication to his career and passion for helping others make him an excellent asset to any team.
Wendy Espinoza, Local Hire Compliance Monitor
Wendy Espinoza is an insight interviewer professional who conducts onsite interviews, Wendy enjoys interacting with workers from different projects and getting to know them better. She considers the workers on these projects to be her coworkers, and she sees them on a weekly basis. Wendy takes great pride in her projects and considers them to be a part of her. She always strives to ensure that her projects are in compliance with the highest standards, and every month she eagerly anticipates receiving an email or report for each project she is working on. Wendy is always delighted when the reports are exceptionally well done.
With her enthusiasm for teamwork and attention to detail, Wendy is confident in her ability to contribute positively to any project she works on. She looks forward to continuing to collaborate with others and achieving great things together. Whether she is spending time with her family, planning a party, or conducting onsite interviews, Wendy is a dedicated and passionate individual who brings her best to everything she does.
Wendy Espinoza is a busy working mom who cherishes the time she spends with her kids and family. When she's not working, she enjoys taking her children to Disneyland, where they can enjoy the magical world of Disney together. Wendy also loves party planning, and she has a talent for making each event unique and memorable.
Johana Escobar , Local Hire Compliance Monitor

Clark Canez, Excel Compliance Auditor
Clark Canez is our Excel Compliance Auditor, better known as the Excel Specialist. With his passion for statistics and community, Clark found a great fit with Power2Workers. As Compliance Auditor, he ensures state and federal regulations and internal guidelines are adhered to. Clark is known to be deeply knowledgeable and supportive of his team members, always eager to answer any question they may have.
Clark obtained his degree in psychology from Cal State University Los Angeles. Prior to joining the Power2Workers team he worked in public housing and accounting. With his background, education and experience Clark makes an invaluable asset to our team, bringing both expertise and a fresh perspective to every project he undertakes.
When Clark is not crunching numbers, he loves to go on an adventure. Clark loves to attend concerts; theme parks any side quest that might present itself.
Karen Sanchez, Receptionist, Intake & Office Coordinator
Karen Sanchez, the heart of the office, our Receptionist, Intake and Office Coordinator. While Karen maintains all office operations, she also supports her colleagues with various aspects of their ongoing projects. In her role as Intake and Office Coordinator she meets and greets all candidates by providing them with resources and training opportunities. Karen ensures candidates have overall support throughout their journey.
Karen graduated from Cal State Los Angeles obtaining her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Karen is the first in her family to graduate from college and she aspires to continue her education. While working at Power2Workers Karen has proven to be a committed, dedicated, and reliable person.
Outside of working at Power2Workers, Karen loves to spend her time with family and friends. She enjoys going to concerts, visiting unfamiliar places, and learning new hobbies. Karen does hope to travel more and possibly venture into entrepreneurship in the future by expanding one of her many talents.
